You’ve probably seen the ads on popular social media apps. “Start a business with no money!” They are often selling an MLM or network marketing company. Even those are far from free to join (that’s their whole business model), but even if it’s not an MLM, there are plenty of business gurus who will tell you that you can start your own little business with the money in your pocket. This often doesn’t work and ends up wasting money. Many people think that they did something wrong. They didn’t do anything wrong. You can’t start a business with no money. This, however, shouldn’t stop you from pursuing your business dreams.

All business needs capital

We live in a capitalist system. This means that new private business is formed based on putting wealth to work for productive means. This includes buildings, machines, and employees.
